In May 2025 a group of Wargravians decided to start meeting in the Junior school to worship God, encourage each other in our faith, and tell others about Jesus.

Our vision is that the lives of people in Wargrave would be transformed through the power of God.

The leadership team is described below. As a group we come from many different nations, life experiences and range in age from 1-85. We see ourselves as part of the global Family of God that spans through time and place. We’d love to show you what it means to be part of this precious family.

Do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to meet for a coffee to chat.

Our Leadership Team

Doug Clark has always worked in logistics in various businesses so no wonder he runs the management side of things here. He also enjoys fly fishing when he can spend time outdoors but not always catching trout! Doug is married to Alex who together have two children and two grandchildren. Having lived here for more than 15 years now, Wargrave is very much their home

Jubi da Silva is a regular speaker here. Originally from Brazil, Jubi met his wife Annie while studying in Vancouver. Now Jubi works as trainer with a Christian charity, gets to travel abroad for work and raves about the indoor BBQ in his kitchen! Jubi and Annie have two young daughters.

Annie da Silva runs the children’s work here. She also runs a huge allotment here in Wargrave and wreath workshops year round. Before meeting Jubi, Annie was a management consultant, having worked in various companies both in the UK and abroad. Annie and Jubi have been in Wargrave for almost six years now.

Sue Witney runs the safeguarding programme here and more. Spending a significant amount of time at the stables, Sue has now fulfilled a childhood dream of owning her own horse! She can also be seen walking around Wargrave with a friendly but challenging border collie called Archie. Sue is married to Steve. They are both retired teachers and horse riders.

Ian French recently retired from the IT industry so, surprise, surprise, he looks after our IT stuff. You may have seen him playing the trombone in a local brass band, so Ian also runs the music side of things here and preaches sometimes. Ian is married to Li Yen, who is Singaporean, and together they have two sons and two grandchildren. They have lived in Wargrave for more than 20 years now.
